Option 1: I already know know what site, cabin or
trip I would like to book.
Option 2: I already know which River Trip I would
like to reserve.
Option 3: I would like to search through this
site to learn more about the camp sites, cabins or canoe trips before I
make my reservation.
Option 1: I already know what campsite or
cabin I would like to book.
1a: Follow the link at the end of this line to enter the reservation
system. It will open in a new screen. Click
here to open reservation system.
1b. To reserve a cabin or campsite, click on the bed
icon (the small brown box on the left side of the screen.) A screen will
pop up below the box where you can enter the dates you wish to make a
reservation for. (There is a two night minimum on weekends and three
night minimum on holiday weekends.)
1c. Enter your arrival date and departure date. Nothing else needs to
be selected here. You can, if you wish select Cabin or Campsite in the
Room Type drop down box. After you have made your selections, press the
Search key.
1d. A list will appear showing the cabins and/or campsites, and which
ones are available for your chosen dates. It will either show as 1 room
left -- meaning it is available, or 0 rooms left, meaning it is not
available. Click the Book button next to the cabin or campsite you wish
to reserve.
1e. The next screen will bring up a list of just the campsites or
just the cabins, depending on what you selected. On the drop down box
next to the cabin or campsite you want press the down arrow key then
select 1. In parenthesis next to the one will be the total price for the
number of nights you have selected.
1f. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the Proceed button.
1g. The next screen will show the camp site or cabin you selected and
the dates you selected it. Here you also have a few options that can be
added to your order. If you want an option click the box beside it and a
check will appear. Click the the Proceed button when finished.
1h. This is the Itinerary screen, which lists
everything you currently have in you shopping cart. From this screen you
can click into another section of the shopping pages to order more
items, delete anything you decided you did not want, or click the Order
button to make an online payment towards your order.
1i. If you are a returning customer (to the online system) you can
login here, otherwise you will need to create a new account by filling
out the information at the bottom of the screen. Click the Register
button after you have completed filling out the form.
1j. This is the check out screen -- giving you one more review of
your order and showing the dollar amounts and the reservation fee due.
There is also a section to enter notes, if you need to leave any for the
Hocking Hills Canoe Livery Staff. (For example, if you will be checking
in late, or have any special requests.) If you add a note click the Save
button. When finished reviewing the screen press the Next button.
1k. Review the information on the payment screen, including your
billing address and email, then scroll down to the bottom. Online
Payment is automatically the selection for payment type. Read the Terms
and Conditions, then click in the box. When you have finished these
steps click the Order button.
1l. Clicking the Order button takes you to the PayPal login screen.
** Remember you must return to the Hocking Hills Canoe Livery shopping
cart page to complete your transaction. If you are a PayPal member you
can login to complete your payment. If you do not have a PayPal account
click Continue where it says use your credit card -- you will be
prompted to enter your name and contact information as well as credit
card information to make your payment.
1m. When you payment is complete click on the Return to Hocking Hills
Canoe link. This will take you back to a reservation confirmation
screen. You did it! You should receive two automatic emails --
one from PayPal saying you paid us, and one from us saying we have your
reservation. (Be sure to check your junk or spam folders to see if it
was delivered there.)
Option 2: I already know which River Trip I
would like to reserve.
2a. Follow the link at the end of this line to enter the reservation
system. It will open in a new screen. Click
here to open the reservation system.
2b. On the menu on the left, under River Trips, click either Trip A
Enterprise for our 5 mile trip, or Trip B Rockbridge for our 7 mile
trip.
2c. Scroll to the drop down menu Please Enter Your
Boat Details. Choose either Canoe or Kayak.
2d. You can scroll over the calendar at the bottom to see if boats
are available for a certain day, or you can just enter a date in Step 2
Please Enter Your Rental Details. Select your trip time on the right.
2e. If there will be more than two people in the canoe you can select
an extra child or adult. Click the Add button when finished.
2f. This is the Itinerary screen, which lists everything you
currently have in you shopping cart. From this screen you can click into
another section of the shopping pages to order more items, delete
anything you decided you did not want, or click the Order button to make

Option 3: I would like to search through
this site to learn more about camp sites, cabins or canoe trips before I
make my reservation.
3a. There are several clickable links throughout the website that
take you directly to a certain point in the reservation system. For
example if you were looking at the camp site descriptions, from each
site description there is a direct link to check availability for that
particular camp site. To get right into the reservation system this way
click the Check Availability link.
3b. From here you can make a reservation. For River Trips go to step 2c.
For cabins or camp sites enter your dates and click Check Availability.
The next screen will tell you if the dates are available or not. If they
are available click Book Now and go to step 1h. If
they are not available go to step 1b to start a new
search.
